IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT BOTTLE CONDITIONED
ALES
All our ales are bottle conditioned.
In order to appreciate this real ale in top condition, keep away
from heat and bright sunlight and store in an upright position.
Bottle conditioned ales have a small amount of yeast remaining
in the bottle and so are a live product, unlike 90% of ordinary
bottled beers. This produces some secondary fermentation giving
a little sediment at the bottom of the bottle, but in return a
much deeper character. Pouring carefully will reward you with
a clear, superior drink. We expect all of our ales to leave the
shop in perfect condition. If, however, you feel this is not the
case please do let us know. We will gladly replace the bottle
at the shop or offer a refund
We welcome feedback on all the
ales we sell, either by phone or by email.
